Dixie Boswell
Dixie Boswell was born in Tampa, Florida, in 1982. She studied painting, drawing and art history at 91´«Ã½ State University, earning a BFA. Her studio fine art graduate studies were completed at Claremont Graduate University just outside of Los Angeles, California. Boswell's studio practice involves creating ethereal and non-permanent installations that repurpose materials, surfaces and space to stimulate inward and outward reflection.
MSU research brought to life through Harned Hall student murals
Located on Harned Hall’s ground floor near the university’s herbarium, a vibrant mural featuring native 91´«Ã½ plants and pollinators was begun by Starkville native Mary Sanders, a 2023 graduate.
